Award-winning photojournalist Nadia Benchallal was born in France and eventually returned to her family’s home country of Algeria on a personal quest to document the everyday lives of Muslim women there. That trip gave rise to her long-term project documenting Muslim women worldwide, capturing them in their private and public lives.
